There's Always Something..

Yellow peeps ;)

A big shout out before I start rambling later.
HAPPY PASSOVER/EASTER/RESURRECTION DAY!!!!!!!
Whatever the term, today is the remembrance that I live because Someone else had died for me.

Hope you guys had the most super awesome long weekend, as I did.

Mom's here!! Awesome, right?
I'll attached the bw selfie of us, taken using #tongsis from WW lol.
We went cafe/brunch hopping.
Shop.
Eat.
Shop some more.
And we had some talk.
"Talk"
Maybe I'll share a bit on the next post.
If I feel like it lol.

Anyways!

Just want to share how amazing life is when you know that you are taken care of.
For me, to be able to find happiness and gratitude in the simplest things in life is the definition of 'blessed'.
Like noticing how the bus reached just in time when you reached the bus stop.

And just now, we, Billy, Ijah and I went for a meeting for the TLG worker's retreat.
On the first meeting last week, we were talking about doing the amazing race : food edition.
LOL.
We talked about the grouping and the game formats etc etc.
So we decided to held the next meeting the following week (which is today) in a cafe that were planned to be one of the post.
Cut the story short, after some considerations, we're changing the theme to..
something else.
LOLOL (won't tell here since some might my post. No spoiler sorry lol)

I just knew of this major change when we're on the way to this cafe.
Well, I mean, we might as well meet at a nearby area, like city, or anywhere that is less suburb than this bahaha.
But then, there's no harm in trying a new dining place, I supposed.
So off we go.

The place was quite atas *Singlish alert*
We ordered some buffalo wings, pork ribs (full rack ._.) and salmon pasta something.
The food so so only.
But the discussion was AWESOME!
We talked about lots of stuff and brainstorm like a real storm, all ideas came out like water from a fountain of wisdom (chimm).
We talked and laughed and laughed some more.

And you know the best part?
This place, that was intended for the foodie thingy, turns out to be super perfect for the new theme, which is still a secret muahaha.
When the theme was changed, we actually had a place in mind.
I've seen the place before.
But this place we found tonight, are super perfect by far.
I even childishly try the climby thingy which looks like a DNA chain combined with spiderweb.
....and got stuck in the middle.
Thanks to Billy who gave me instructions on how to step down.
No thanks to Ijah for the embarrassing video. LOLOL.

It was a super awesomely fruitful night.

Went home and mom's there :)
Her flight was cancelled because of the volcano eruption, well, hope nobody got hurt like last time.
Well, it's good no urgent things waiting for her in Jakarta.
At least I got mom for 1 more day haha.

Ok lah. I just reminded tonight, that even the most carefully planned days can go differently from your calculations.
But then, different doesn't mean for the worse, right?
I believe that when we submit our plans under His, then everything happened for our good.
Simply because God is a caring Father for us all.

Last week a friend of mine Mr G said something that surprisingly wise of him.

"There's always a reasons to give thanks"

..true.

Good night peeps.
Long weekend might be over, but His love endures forever.

Here's some pics taken with mom #vscocam #ftw lolol

When God Made a Promise

“I know this is too fast. And please don’t ask me why, because I don’t have the answer. I don’t know why.” “I won’t ask you why. Because I know.. It’s God.”   Wkwkwkwkwwkwkwkwkww duh supershy padahal biasanya ga tau malu. I’m still getting used to this. But those who viewed our IG feed and saw the pic posted in FB would know what this is all about. The Promise of God. It’s been there, mentioned the wholeee time in my earlier posts, yet unnamed. I’ll try to recall the whole story. Some details would be lost in translation because there are wayyyy TOO MANY. Haha. Fyi. I’VE BEEN WAITING SOOO LOOOONG TO SHOUT THIS OUT LOUD. So, here goes. Last Sunday, R asked me out to dinner. A few days before, he’s mentioned this fancy place and I calmly (I think) said, “Yes, yes why not” while inside I was [insert screaming emoji here] knowing that this is not a normal dining experience. OMG. I was so glad it’s through a text message, otherwise he would see me SCREAM

The Boy Who Showed Me My WHY

So last week, the entire school left Redding for ministry trip around the States. I went to Phoenix for 8 days and came home to school with tons of testimonies of healing, people set free, delivered, and experiencing the love of the Father in the most tangible way. But here’s my personal take on the trip to Phoenix, AZ. I met a boy and this divine appointment marked my life forever. I told God (and my team mates), if the reason of my entire trip, all the whirlwind of fund raising and preparations, was just for this one moment with this boy, I would do it all over again.  So on an evening, I was told that I would go to minister to kids in a home church the next day. (On prerequisite of being in the trip with Bethel people is a heart that is always ready with a smiley YES to whatever comes next. HAHAH. So many last minute change, you could be blindsided by the suddenness of if. Or you can take it as an invitation to lean on the Holy Spirit leading. It’s nerve-wrecking for a bit, but once

I Belong to The Youth

SO! I don't know where to start. But I certainly could say that THIS is not the end. God is not done yet. In fact, earlier today I was discussing things with Ijah and we both agreed on something : we are on an accelerated roller coaster ride. Faster than ever! Higher than we ever been before! There are milestones in life. Like moments when you graduated uni, or when your PR is approved. When you moved overseas or going back for good. Moments that marked a change in the season of life. But there are other kinds of moments : intangible, but leaving marks so deep your brain might let go but your soul never will. And last week was THAT kind of moments. A series of events that, combined together, was just.. Well. I couldn't find A WORD to describe it best. But I would try my best to re-tell the story. Here goes. (Beware. It's gonna be long) I was considering a one day leave, a half-day plus another half-day, or simply a 2 days leave to attend Empowered21. If you'
