New Place WOHOO!

Yellow!!!
It's been a week since I moved out from the old place.
So last week was.. superduperhectic.
It's only the 2 of us, my housemate and I, but looking at our stuff.. well....
I shyly admit to the mover guy that, yes, THOSE were our pile of boxes and drawers.

I love my new house. I love my new room!
It's superspacious, even with our 3 wardrobes, 4 portable drawers, 2 big study tables, and my piano,
I can do a cartwheel without knocking anything off its place. LOL.

Anyway.

Here's a song for you.

Looking back to these few weeks, I saw that it is true. He is enough.

Let me tell you a story about 2 girls finding  new place to stay.

There were 4 of us.
But 1 has went back for good, the other one happily married now.
I was not surprised when the landlord's agent informed us that we won't be able to extend our tenancy because the owner will be selling the place.
Not surprised. Doesn't mean I'm excited about it. LOL.
Well, I know that moving to a new place is tiring, I've been through it a few times myself.
But somehow, I know that if He is the One that want me to stay in Singapore, then He will be my provider and there is no way He will let me stay on the streets or sumthing. LOL.

Well, if there's only 2 of us, I don't think we can rent a whole place by ourselves.
But then one of my cell group's mate told me that she'd like to move in together because her rent will be ending soon and she doesn't want to stay in that place any longer.
She'll bring in her sister together.
Another cell group mate just graduated from uni and decided to move in.
So there. 5 of us :)

The journey of finding a new place begins.
I think I told you before about the very first house viewing.
The horror. LOL.
From the house with a fossil of a cockroach on its floor, to finally find this place, in the area that is in walking distance of my previous place.
I remember that I contacted the agent to arrange the viewing.
Turns out that we really like the place.
It's in an old building, but the unit itself was just renovated recently.
To add to our excitement, this agent is very kind and honest.
He told us that he's acting on behalf of the owner, and that all the fees will be borne by the landlord.
He even help us to apply for some docs, that actually should be filed by us.
Thanks Max!

Ok. So the house's settled.

The next thing we need to find is a good mover.
Two years ago, we're engaging this one mover company.
Well, let's just say that I'll be more selective than last year lol.
My new housemate recommends an uncle mover, which I contacted immediately.
But he doesn't have any manpower to do the dismantling and assembling of beds and wardrobes.
So I contacted the next number I have.
This 2nd mover came to survey and gave us quotation on the fee chargeable.
Well.
They ask for almost $600. The $120 itself is for dismantling and assembling.
I'm like..... whaaa..aat???
Two years ago, the WHOLE house moving out, and it's only around $400.
Now 2 of us, with $600??
To cut the story short, we found one.
This mover was recommended by one of my previous housemate.
Well, I thought she'll be using this uncle mover on the same date that we're moving out.
But she told me that her stuff was not much so there's no need for a mover after all.
I send the mover a text. And he is available! Hurray!!!
Available and definitely faaaaaar cheaper from the $600 quotation.
This uncle is an Indonesian and he told me that he never charged more than $200 for fellow Indonesian.
..
God is just too good.

Nope. The story's not over yet.

So the next day after we're moving in, we went to IKEA to buy some stuff for the new home.
Then my housemate decided to buy a shelf.
It is quite big and even after being dismantled, the planks are still quite long.
So we're quite worried that it won't be fit in a taxi.
Nope. IKEA delivery service is not an option because the charge can be used to buy another similar shelf.
LOL.
Anyway, my friend took a peek and she told me that she's worried.
'I just saw that taxi driver. He doesn't even moved out from his taxi to help us loading our stuff.
How if ours is as ignorant and unhelpful as that one?'
Well. I just say that no, we won't. Because He'll send us a kind and helpful one.

...And it is. Indeed.
When our taxi came, the driver came out immediately when seeing our bulky package. LOL.
He even take the package and load it to the taxi himself.
The shelf was safely inside, but he keeps helping us loading our other stuff on the trunk.
Arrived safely to our new home, the taxi driver, again, came out and help us unloading ALL our stuffs.

I am speechless.

God is just too awesome.
He takes care of everything. I mean, EVERYTHING.
Not only the big big problems that keeps some people awake the whole night,
but even the tiny little details, He never forget to taken care of.
It is true that in our weaknesses, His strength is perfected.
His grace is enough.
He is enough.
Therefore, we shall rest, knowing that He is faithful today, tomorrow, and forever more.

Good night blessed peeps.
Rest in Him.

I Belong to The Youth

SO! I don't know where to start. But I certainly could say that THIS is not the end. God is not done yet. In fact, earlier today I was discussing things with Ijah and we both agreed on something : we are on an accelerated roller coaster ride. Faster than ever! Higher than we ever been before! There are milestones in life. Like moments when you graduated uni, or when your PR is approved. When you moved overseas or going back for good. Moments that marked a change in the season of life. But there are other kinds of moments : intangible, but leaving marks so deep your brain might let go but your soul never will. And last week was THAT kind of moments. A series of events that, combined together, was just.. Well. I couldn't find A WORD to describe it best. But I would try my best to re-tell the story. Here goes. (Beware. It's gonna be long) I was considering a one day leave, a half-day plus another half-day, or simply a 2 days leave to attend Empowered21. If you...

The Boy Who Showed Me My WHY

So last week, the entire school left Redding for ministry trip around the States. I went to Phoenix for 8 days and came home to school with tons of testimonies of healing, people set free, delivered, and experiencing the love of the Father in the most tangible way. But here’s my personal take on the trip to Phoenix, AZ. I met a boy and this divine appointment marked my life forever. I told God (and my team mates), if the reason of my entire trip, all the whirlwind of fund raising and preparations, was just for this one moment with this boy, I would do it all over again.  So on an evening, I was told that I would go to minister to kids in a home church the next day. (On prerequisite of being in the trip with Bethel people is a heart that is always ready with a smiley YES to whatever comes next. HAHAH. So many last minute change, you could be blindsided by the suddenness of if. Or you can take it as an invitation to lean on the Holy Spirit leading. It’s nerve-wrecking for a bit, but ...

When God Made a Promise

“I know this is too fast. And please don’t ask me why, because I don’t have the answer. I don’t know why.” “I won’t ask you why. Because I know.. It’s God.”   Wkwkwkwkwwkwkwkwkww duh supershy padahal biasanya ga tau malu. I’m still getting used to this. But those who viewed our IG feed and saw the pic posted in FB would know what this is all about. The Promise of God. It’s been there, mentioned the wholeee time in my earlier posts, yet unnamed. I’ll try to recall the whole story. Some details would be lost in translation because there are wayyyy TOO MANY. Haha. Fyi. I’VE BEEN WAITING SOOO LOOOONG TO SHOUT THIS OUT LOUD. So, here goes. Last Sunday, R asked me out to dinner. A few days before, he’s mentioned this fancy place and I calmly (I think) said, “Yes, yes why not” while inside I was [insert screaming emoji here] knowing that this is not a normal dining experience. OMG. I was so glad it’s through a text message, otherwise he would see ...
