The Big L

Yellow hellow!! Long time never blog I don't even know where to start.

January 2015 flies like Iron Man. So fast, right!
And know it's February already.
Valentine's Day in 14 days.
I know some of you have prepared a surprise romantic dinner, or flower arrangement, or apa lah gitu yg berbau2 mushy mushy for their loved ones.
But some others, the singles and jomblos, might hear Valentine's and *sigh* just another day.
Or worse : galau and deep in despair #bukancurhat

Ok lah, jadi menyambut hari Valentine, here I am writing about the big L.
LOVE.
What? I'm not always jomblo, you know. Gw jg pernah muda! (bukannya skrg uda tua jg si..)
Just wanna share some stuff I've picked up along the way.

WHY FALL IN LOVE?

Ya, basically Tuhan bikin kita out of love. Even if your parents don't, He definitely DOES.
Buat Tuhan, we are not an accident, not a mistake, not just a coincidence krn Dia iseng aja bkin orang2an. Nope.
Therefore, there's a natural tendency for us to love. Karena we were made out of love. His love.
We can love Him and others, because He loved us first. Logis jg sih. Yg ga logis itu cinta Tuhan yang never ending, unwavering kinda love that keeps on giving despite gimana response kita ke Dia.

BUT WHY DISAPPOINTMENT AND BROKEN HEART EXIST?

Because we live in this imperfect world and no-one, ever, can love perfectly like He does.
Apalagi dunia skrg tmbh parah. Kadang lbh cinta barang, or yg abstrak2, tapi ga cinta orang.
Boro2 mau cinta Tuhan..
Intinya menurut gw (bisa aja salah sih), I think one of the reason is because you haven't realize how much His love is for you, and how precious you are in His eyes.
Kaya yg tadi gw blg, you'll naturally love, because that's how and why you are created.
But when we haven't experienced His love first hand, we will be looking for love for all the wrong reasons, from all the wrong sources, and this what brings us to.... galau and broken heart.

Well, personally, gw sendiri pernah kok (ga sering2 amat, serius). Bukan pernah patah hati, itu sih pasti. I mean, pernah fell in love for all the wrong reasons.

Some of us feel incomplete kalo single. Some feels ga laku and lack of something.
Some others just love the adrenaline (yg bakal ilang juga sooner or later).
Some feels insecure. Unloved. Even to the point that some feels they don't deserve to be loved at all!

But YOU DO!!!
When you know how big, how wide, how deep cinta Tuhan sama kita, apa lagi sih yg kurang dari hidup kita?
Incomplete? Yes, we are. We are incomplete without His love! But when you realize that even if you are the only sinner in this world, He would still die on THAT same cross JUST FOR YOU.

Ga laku??  We are the Princes and Princesses of God. Yaelah denger nama Prince William, I'm sure banyak jg cw yg pengen jadi si Kate Middleton. But you don't need to be married to someone from a royal family to be Princes/Princesses. Simply because your Father is the ruler of the universe Himself! You ARE His Princes/Princesses. And you all hold the key, access to His throne of Grace 24/7.

Insecure? (cewek banget ini) Sebenernya kenapa sih kalo ga single jd secure gt? Emang semua cowo itu macam bodyguard? Boro2 body builder, ga cholesterol aja udah seneng gw sih.
I mean, if you know that your Daddy's holding the WHOLE universe in His mighty hand, nothing, really, NOTHING, can touch a single of your hair without His permission.


BUT BUT BUT. TELAT. GW UDAH PERNAH/SEDANG/MUNGKIN AKAN PATAH HATI. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Ya.. Gw juga pernah. But I believe, God restores. And the most important thing is, when we have made a wrong decisions or made a mistake, just humbly come before Him, and trust me, He turns our broken into beautiful! Don't look back and be ashamed or condemned for who you WERE. Because when He said IT IS FINISHED, you have been renewed. Just keep moving forward with Him, jangan keras kepala and let Him do the teaching. (kalo keras kepala ntr ky Israelites diputer2 di gurun)
One day, people with the same challenges will come to you and tell you their secrets and you can relate. Because you've been through EXACTLY the same thing!!
Instead of being ashamed of who you were, now you can boast about His unconditional love that turns you into who you are today.
How I know? Because I've been there.

And for those that haven't have the 'privilege' of experiencing broken heart and this kinda FTV sinetron stuff. Well, I say, guard your heart with all vigilance, because that's the source of your life.
Cinta datang tiba2....
Ga juga sih kata gw.
Pertama kali pasti cuman demen2 aja. Trus jd demennnnn banget.
So basically you have control over your heart!
You can choose to whom you wanna give it to.
Nah sebelum 'jadi demennn banget' and ternyata malah bkin galau dan sakit hati dan *touch wood* gagal move on, isnt' it better to give it all up to your Daddy God first?
Kalo lulus inspection, baru di handover back to us.
Because anyway, we all have the free-will.
Whether you wanna let God takes over, or you wanna DIY. Do it yourself.

EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

Lah iyaaa!! Makanya gw bilang we all learn from our mistakes.
And God is not the kind of Father that will turn His back on you if you ignore Him once.
(or twice, or thrice, or 4 times, etc etc etc etc etc)
Ya even if your best friend agak males sama you because you brushed-off all her advice and just go ahead then turns out you nangis2 because of your own decisions, He never.
But by the end of the day, everything comes with consequences.
If you trust yourself that your decisions are always the best decisions, then just do it.
But if you know that you can't do it by yourself, trust God. Completely.
Kalo separo2 sih sama aja ga trust dongg.

Okeh udah subuh OMG besok gw kerja gimana oi!!!!!!

Well, penutupan.

Our Father is simply too good to let us have a second best.
He will give us, only the best, if we put our trust in Him, completely.
As a perfect Father, I believe He has a perfect love story uniquely written for each and everyone of us. One that you would tell your grandchildren before she goes to sleep and she will fall asleep with a smile on her face, knowing that such amazing story awaits her in the future.
Trust Him and His perfect timing. And only the best will be given to you.
His love is enough for us.
He is more than enough!

The Boy Who Showed Me My WHY

So last week, the entire school left Redding for ministry trip around the States. I went to Phoenix for 8 days and came home to school with tons of testimonies of healing, people set free, delivered, and experiencing the love of the Father in the most tangible way. But here’s my personal take on the trip to Phoenix, AZ. I met a boy and this divine appointment marked my life forever. I told God (and my team mates), if the reason of my entire trip, all the whirlwind of fund raising and preparations, was just for this one moment with this boy, I would do it all over again.  So on an evening, I was told that I would go to minister to kids in a home church the next day. (On prerequisite of being in the trip with Bethel people is a heart that is always ready with a smiley YES to whatever comes next. HAHAH. When God Made a Promise

“I know this is too fast. And please don’t ask me why, because I don’t have the answer. I don’t know why.” “I won’t ask you why. Because I know..
